“Chase Out Anyone Campaigning Against Alia” – Gov Alia’s Aide Reportedly Seen Sharing ₦2,000, 10kg Rice In Otukpo

- A viral video has shown Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia’s Senior Special Assistant on Youth Mobilisation, Terver Gbenda, distributing ₦2,000 cash and 10kg bags of rice to beneficiaries in Otukpo.

A viral video has shown Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia’s Senior Special Assistant on Youth Mobilisation, Terver Gbenda, distributing ₦2,000 cash and 10kg bags of rice to beneficiaries in Otukpo.
In the footage circulating online, Gbenda is seen handing out the cash and food items to people gathered at the location.
He is also heard warning beneficiaries to chase out anyone who comes to Otukpo to campaign against Governor Hyacinth Alia.
Gbenda has also previously been involved in the distribution of rice and other food items to selected youths across Benue’s 23 local government areas.
The latest footage has triggered reactions online, with some Nigerians questioning the use of cash and food distribution in a political environment, while others focused on the conditions facing young people in Benue.
