Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has labelled the current players “an absolute disgrace” following their 1-1 draw at Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday.
Lisandro Martinez’s own goal gave the hosts the lead before Matheus Cunha’s deflected effort salvaged a point for United.
United sit in 12th place after their opening five fixtures, ahead of the international break.
It is their joint-lowest points total after five games of a season in the Premier League era.
“I rarely say teams don’t make an effort because that’s the ultimate criticism,” Neville said on Sky Sports.
“That first 15 minutes of the second half, and generally the first 60 minutes, United were an absolute disgrace.
“I’ve watched Man United since the age of five, and that’s the worst 15 minutes I’ve ever seen. Absolutely pathetic. I’ve never seen such a lack of effort.
“There needs to be a reset in terms of structure.”
