A man and his wife have sparked discussions online after confronting members of a church over what they described as excessive noise from early-morning prayers.

According to reports, the church, which is located close to the couple’s house, regularly holds early morning prayer sessions using microphones and speakers.

The couple claimed that the noise from the activities has been disturbing their peace, especially during the early hours of the day.

In a video circulating on social media, the angry man is heard questioning the church members over their decision to start prayers as early as 6 a.m. while using loudspeakers.

“You came here as early as 6 a.m. to make noise and disturb us. Meanwhile, when you go home and your children make noise, you tell them to keep quiet because you want to sleep,” he reportedly said.

He further questioned why the church members were making so much noise, adding that they had served God for years but their lives appeared unchanged.

The man’s wife also joined him during the confrontation as they expressed their frustration over the situation. However, none of the church members reportedly responded to the complaints, as they continued with their activities.

The incident has sparked debate online, with some people supporting the couple’s concerns about noise pollution, while others believe churches should be allowed to conduct their religious activities within reasonable limits.

The issue has once again renewed conversations about balancing religious practices with the need to respect the peace and comfort of neighbouring residents.
