“I Don’t Like It When Guys Waste My Time”- Tems Opens Up On Dating

  • The singer discussed her decision to move on from past dating experiences.

Nigerian music star Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, has opened up about her experiences with dating, revealing why she has chosen to distance herself from what she described as “the streets.”

The Grammy-winning singer made the disclosure during a TikTok livestream on Monday while speaking about her decision to move on from certain experiences associated with dating.

Tems revealed that she became frustrated with men who wasted her time, noting that she is no longer willing to entertain such situations.

“I don’t like it when guys waste my time. But for me, never again. I don’t have that problem anymore. I have left the streets,” she said.

The singer did not, however, reveal what specifically influenced her decision or disclose whether she is currently involved in a relationship.

Her recent remarks come after she previously spoke about her experiences with men during an interview with YouTuber Korty EO.

During the conversation, Tems recounted how some men who approached her appeared to be more interested in her physical appearance than in getting to know her genuinely.

According to the singer, she has encountered men whose intentions seemed focused largely on her body rather than on building a meaningful relationship.

Tems stressed that although physical attraction can naturally play a role in relationships, she desires genuine connections and does not want to be approached simply because of her appearance.
