Nollywood actress Sikiratu Sindodo has recounted her difficult battle with a strange illness that left her fighting for her life for several months.

Speaking during an interview with Oyinmomo TV, the actress revealed that her health ordeal initially started as what appeared to be malaria before her condition gradually became worse.

According to Sikiratu, she was moved from one hospital to another as her family desperately searched for answers and proper treatment for her condition.

The actress disclosed that the illness persisted for months and became so severe that she eventually slipped into a coma.

She recalled that doctors informed her mother that she had only a 50/50 chance of surviving the health crisis.

Sikiratu further revealed that the situation became so critical that medical professionals at one point advised her mother to go home, leaving the family uncertain about whether she would survive.

Her revelation has sparked emotional reactions from fans and colleagues, with many expressing gratitude that the actress eventually pulled through the life-threatening ordeal.

Her words…

“It started as malaria/typhoid, and became worse with time. She said she was taken to different hospitals,

I was sick like someone who had malaria. Malaria/typhoid, that was it, and that was how it started gradually. From one General Hospital to another. I can’t remember how long it lasted. I think it lasted for months because I was in a coma and was given a 50/50 chance. My mum was even told to go home”.

While speaking on her trials, Sikiratu, who said she didn’t want to get emotional, asserted that God truly answers prayers

“God answered a lot of prayers in my life. God has been faithful because I don’t want to be emotional”.

She also addressed reports of her and MC Oluomo, saying the noise about them was too much.

“The noise was too much. I didn’t know the noise would be that much”.
