Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, has shared the relationship advice he is thankful he chose not to follow.
The Afrobeats star made the revelation on Thursday, September 24, 2026, in a post shared on his TikTok page.
Mr Eazi reflected on the popular relationship saying, “If you love them, let them go; if it is meant to be, they will come back to you.”
However, according to the singer, following the advice could have led to a very different outcome in his personal life.
“Imagine say I listen to that,” he said, shaking his head before breaking into energetic dance moves to emphasise his point.
Mr Eazi is married to Temi Otedola, the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola. The couple tied the knot in 2025 after being in a relationship for several years.
His latest post has since sparked reactions from fans, with many linking his comments to his relationship with Temi and suggesting that his decision not to “let her go” played a significant role in their love story.
