Nollywood actress Jumoke Odetola has announced that she is beginning a new chapter of her life dedicated to Christian ministry.
The Yoruba actress recently drew attention with a series of social media posts declaring that she had become a minister of God and was taking on a new role as a preacher of the gospel.
Addressing people who had become concerned about her posts, Odetola thanked friends, family and colleagues for checking on her and said there was no cause for alarm.
“I truly appreciate the numerous calls, messages, and concerns of my friends, family, and colleagues,” she said. “I feel seen, cared for and loved.”
Odetola acknowledged that something significant was happening in her life, but stressed that nothing was wrong with her.
“Yes, something is going on in my life, but nothing is wrong with me,” she said, adding that she was “entering a new season with God.”
