A man has reportedly been caught after allegedly attempting to deceive a businesswoman by replacing a new packaged power bank with another one filled with sand at her shop.
According to the businesswoman, the man visited her shop to purchase a power bank. After she brought out one for him, he allegedly requested a different type, prompting her to go inside the shop to get another option.
She claimed that while she was away, the man quickly swapped the new power bank with another device that had reportedly been filled with sand and placed it in the packaging.
The man later told the woman he would return, but she reportedly became suspicious and checked the item, only to discover that it was not the original power bank she had brought out.
Realising what had allegedly happened, the businesswoman confronted him and demanded that he return her item. According to reports, the power bank was eventually found inside his bag.
The incident has sparked reactions online, with many people praising the woman’s alertness while warning business owners to remain cautious when dealing with customers, especially during transactions involving expensive gadgets.
