A video showing a heated argument between two young women and market traders has gone viral on social media after a disagreement over clothing turned into an exchange of insults.
The incident happened when the two friends visited a local market to buy household cooking items. While they were there, some market women reportedly criticised one of the women for wearing what was described as a pair of bum shorts.
The comments upset her friend, who stepped in to defend her. In the video, the young woman is seen confronting the traders and arguing with them over the way they treated her friend.
During the heated exchange, she accused the market women of being resentful because they could not dress in a similar way when they were younger.
The confrontation later ended, but the incident quickly gained attention online.
The young woman has since expressed regret over her actions, saying she was disappointed in herself for speaking rudely to the older market women.
