A New York Times executive has been shot dead in California, allegedly by the elderly parents of his wife, who have now been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Jonathan McKinsey, 40, was the newspaper director of engineering for games player experience.
Police said he was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a car park in Dublin, about 35 miles or 56km east of San Francisco, on Saturday afternoon.
His parents-in-law, Shouyong Zhang and Shili Chen, both aged 77, face several charges including first-degree murder.
It is not clear if the couple have a lawyer, and they are due in court on Wednesday to formally face the charges.

His body was reportedly found at 3pm outside the Dublin Sports Grounds.
Witnesses told a local television station in San Francisco that they heard a burst of gunshots and then saw the victim lying on the ground.
One witness, Assad Razawi, said the man dropped to the floor with blood on his head and chest.
Razawi daughter added that her father saw the couple walking together and then calmly walking away from the shooting.
An officer passing by arrested the couple several minutes later.
A witness said they had stayed in the area after the attack.
Police said McKinsey was pronounced dead at the scene.
They have not shared any motive for the killing.
The elderly couple are being held at the Santa Rita jail.
They also face charges of felony conspiracy, wilful discharge of a firearm with gross negligence, and child endangerment.
