Olivia Dunne brought her gymnastics skills to the beach, and fans couldn’t look away!
The former LSU gymnast, 23, took to TikTok and shared a jaw-dropping video of herself doing some gymnastics stunts at the beach in her bikini. While Dunne has done the same thing before, she still stunned her followers, who showered the post with likes and comments.
Dunne rocked a zebra-print bikini that showcased her incredible figure, her tan glowing in the sun. Her top featured triangle cups and straps, while her bottoms had a cheeky cut that bared her perky backside. At the start of the video, the retired athlete took off her hair tie, then ran across the sand and did several cartwheels and a backflip. She captioned the video: “I am crazy, but I am free.”
Fans Were Stunned
Dunne’s video definitely got her fans talking. One person wrote, “Crazy to think Paul Skenes filmed this,” while another commented, “That’s really impressive.”
A third user noted, “My heart did that when I saw you,” and a fourth one added, “You’re the best Livvy!!!”
Others were less vocal with their praise, opting to drop emojis such as red hearts, fire, and heart-eyes.
Joining LSU In 2020
While Dunne announced her verbal commitment to LSU in 2017, she arrived at the university in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in the summer of 2020 amid the pandemic. She was a former junior national team member with a sizable social media following, which grew during her time at LSU.
During her freshman year, Dunne earned All-America honors on bars. Even back then, she loved posting photos and videos of her college life.
“I love to use my platform to give LSU the hype,” Dunne said in February 2021to Baton Rouge-area publication InRegister. “They deserve it. This is truly the best school ever, and I always get so many likes whenever I post about LSU.”
Being Famous While In College
Due to her popularity, Dunne didn’t have a normal college experience.
“I struggled, especially at first, with the amount of eyes on me,” she told ESPN. “I was 18 years old when everything changed, and I felt like I couldn’t breathe, I felt like I couldn’t make a mistake. But something you learn on social media is you will get hate and you will get people that are bitter towards you, especially when you have success.”
While Dunne “struggled” with her social media fame at first, she eventually saw it as a “blessing.”
“I think that having the eyes on me has been such a blessing in my life, and I feel like it’s translated over into eyes on the sport of gymnastics, which was a huge deal to me and a huge reason why I kept coming back for more,” Dunne said. “Watching the growth of the sport, and women’s sports overall, has meant so much to me.”
