Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle, has hailed two of his players after Nigeria defeated Madagascar 2-1 in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifier on Friday.
Two goals from George Ilenikhena and Moses Usor ensured the Super Eagles came from a goal down to beat Madagascar in Uyo.
Speaking to reporters after the match, Chelle heaped praise on Usor and Moses Simon for playing against Madagascar.
“They [Usor and Simon] bring this energy, they bring this one-on-one,” Chelle said.
“You need sometimes something crazy on the field, some people who can bring one-on-one, one against two, one against three. They did well.”
Nigeria’s next match in the AFCON qualifier is against Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday.
