- The criticism comes amid allegations from individuals claiming to have lost money through the travel agency.
- Concerns are rising regarding TMT Travels, particularly involving its boss, Ifeanyi Onukwubiri.

Nigerian social media activist VeryDarkMan has criticised influencers and celebrities who promoted TMT Travels and Tours amid allegations involving individuals who claim to have lost money through the travel agency.
The activist spoke out following growing concerns surrounding the company and claims by alleged victims, including individuals linked to the controversy involving TMT Travels boss Ifeanyi Onukwubiri.
In a video shared online, VeryDarkMan said he initially did not intend to address the issue but felt compelled to speak up so Nigerians could be more cautious about relying on celebrity endorsements before investing their money in businesses or services.
According to him, some influencers promote products and services primarily for financial benefits, without adequately considering the consequences their endorsements could have on their followers.
“I didn’t want to make this video initially, but I have to make it so that Nigerians will understand. A lot of influencers and celebrities promoting things are only looking out for themselves. They can sell anything to you, just for their own personal gain, they have no integrity,” he said.
VeryDarkMan specifically mentioned personalities including Okwuluora, Apama and Prophet Rolex while discussing those who allegedly promoted TMT Travels and Tours.
His comments have since generated reactions online, with the issue once again drawing attention to the responsibility of influencers and celebrities when endorsing businesses to their followers.
