Media personality Toke Makinwa has revealed that her daughter is being homeschooled and receives additional lessons in arts and crafts.

Toke made this known while speaking about her daughter’s early education, noting that homeschooling comes at a significant cost.

According to her, the child also has another teacher who handles arts and crafts, while her main teacher had predicted that she would start reading by the age of two.

Toke added that she believes she has done well as a mother by providing the resources and support for her daughter’s development.

She said, “My daughter is homeschooled, and it’s not cheap. She also does arts and crafts with another teacher. Her teacher said she would start reading by age two, and I think I’ve done well as a mom.”

Her comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians questioning the decision to begin structured education at such a young age, while others defended her choice to homeschool her child.
