Watch Moment Kristo Asafo Members Bowed To Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka’s Statue On His First Anniversary Of Passing

Members of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana have marked the first anniversary of the passing of their founder, Apostle Emeritus Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, with a special ceremony to honour his memory.

During the commemoration, some members were seen bowing before a statue of the late apostle as they paid tribute to the man they regard as a spiritual leader and visionary.

Apostle Emeritus Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, popularly known for his inventions, technological projects and leadership of the Kristo Asafo Mission, passed away in 2025 at the age of 77.

The anniversary ceremony brought together members of the church and followers who gathered to reflect on his contributions and legacy.

Kwadwo Safo Kantanka was widely recognised for promoting locally made technologies, including vehicles and machines developed under the Kantanka brand, while also championing African innovation and self-reliance.

The event featured moments of remembrance and prayers as members honoured his impact on their faith community and Ghana’s technological space.
