“We Won’t Come Out Again”- Kano Residents Protest Over N3,000 APC Campaign Payment

- Residents of Kano State are frustrated with the payment received for attending an APC campaign event.
- They reported being paid only N3,000 for their attendance.
- Some residents borrowed money to afford transportation to the event.
Some residents of Kano State have expressed frustration over the amount allegedly given to them for attending an All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign event.
The residents claimed they were paid only N3,000 after making efforts to attend the campaign ground, with some allegedly borrowing money to cover their transportation costs.
According to them, the amount was not enough to cover the expenses they incurred in travelling to the venue, leaving them dissatisfied with the arrangement.
One of the residents, while expressing frustration over the situation, warned that continued payment of the same amount could discourage people from attending future campaign events.
“If you people keep giving us N3,000 for APC campaign, we won’t come out again. Some of us borrowed transport fare to come to the campaign ground, and they are only paying us N3,000,” the resident lamented.
The complaint has generated attention, particularly over the cost of transportation and the financial challenges faced by residents who attend political gatherings.

@UPDATEPLUG:”He should mention the names of the ward coordinators who called them and the local government they’re from. It’s all propaganda, they’re not even APC members 😂😂”
@Tosin:”hat’s what you people deserve, why me sef go give mola pass 3k na 2k una suppose collect sef. Entitled MF.”
@Frank:”Sorry but how much were they expecting? 10k each? There time isn’t even worth up to that 3k. Whoever is in charge of mobilisation should reduce the amount to 1,200 per person. In fact 1k is even enough. They need to suffer and be frustrated more before their eyes can open.”
@faji of lagos:”It is called “campaign bonuses”. Some people are so daft they will start to insult Apc as if politicians don’t pay for mobilisation fee. Small children go think say na bribe.”
@JAYDEN🥷:”My advice to them is that they should continue coming out oo
@Seems we are not ready in this country, we’ll learn the hard way”
