Two men have been arrested in Oshodi, Lagos State, for allegedly dumping faecal waste on a road median.
The suspects are Sabo Ali, 50, and Ahead Adamu, 30.
They were reportedly caught using a cart to dump the waste.
Muyiwa Gbadegesin, the Managing Director of the Lagos Waste Management Authority, shared the news on his verified account on Friday.
He said the abandoned property the suspects used has been sealed by the Kick Against Indiscipline team.
He said the crackdown is part of a bigger push to stop illegal dumping and protect public spaces across Lagos.
He also promised that more illegal dumpers will be caught.
He is asking residents to dump their waste the right way and use approved collection services. Help keep Lagos clean.
