Sowore Raises Alarm As Armed Thugs Allegedly K!dnap Him In Ekiti, Accuses DSS Of Revealing His Location

Human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has raised an alarm after alleging that armed thugs k!dnapped him in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, and that his current whereabouts are unknown.

Sowore made the claim in a post shared on his X account, writing, “Armed thugs k!dnap Sowore. His current location is unknown!”

In another post shared shortly afterwards, the activist claimed that he and his associates had been att@cked and inj*red by armed thugs in the state.

He accused the Department of State Services (DSS) of providing the alleged attackers with their exact location, claiming that the information enabled them to carry out the assault.

He wrote, “We have been brutally att@cked and inj*red by well armed government-sponsored thugs in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. The @OfficialDSSNG provided these attackers with our exact location, enabling them to carry out this vicious assault. We won’t back down! We have a country to liberate!”

The posts have since generated mixed reactions on social media, with some Nigerians expressing concern for his safety while others questioned the circumstances surrounding the alleged k!dnapping.
