Desola Afod, the alienated wife of Nigerian Yoruba actor Kunle Afod, has addressed those living a fake lifestyle for the media.
Desola took to her Instagram page to complain about the alarming rate at which people live fake lives online, advising them to stop this behaviour and instead stay true to who they are.
“Oju Aye Ti Ba Aye Yin Je. Chai
Stop doing things just for the camera or media. It’s not always helpful, and it can distract you from real growth. Stay true to yourself”, her post read.
Another post by Afro’s estranged wife noted that she was not after validation or pity, as her offline life is better than what people assume. It clarified that she was not doing eye service as several other celebrities do.
Reports of Desola’s fallout with her husband began circulating after a blogger claimed that Desola had packed her belongings and left their matrimonial home, checking into a hotel.
The post went viral, as concerned fans began reaching out to Afod for confirmation. While the actor did not address the matter directly, he thanked fans for their concern. Desola and Kunle’s marriage status remains hazy.
