The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the results of all students who took the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Thursday, April 16, 2026, will be made available on Friday, April 17.
Fabian Benjamin, the board’s spokesperson, indicated this in a post on X, adding that an announcement would be made once the results were available.
“This is to tell all candidates who took the 2026 UTME on Thursday, April 16th, 2026, that their results will be available tonight before midnight. As soon as the findings are known, we will make an official announcement and post it on this page. “Thanks,” he wrote.
The examination, which runs until April 22, is divided into four daily sessions that begin at 7:30 a.m. and end at 6:00 p.m., a structure designed to manage the high number of candidates and avoid congestion at Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers.
This year, approximately 2.2 million candidates are taking part in 966 certified centers, each of which is expected to meet operational requirements such as working computer systems, reliable internet connectivity, sufficient electricity, and sufficiently educated personnel.
