Rivers People Responding Positively To Our Party – ADC

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has declared that the people of Rivers State are positively responding to its ideologies ahead of the 2027 general election.

ADC chairman in the state, Dr Chukwudi Dimkpa, who made the declaration in a chat with LEADERSHIP in Port Harcourt, said the party’s plan is clear, structured and people-driven.

Dimkpa stated that the ADC is focused on building a strong grassroots-based party structure across all 23 local government areas, wards, and polling units across the state.

He further stated that the party is committed to issue-based politics, adding that the ADC stands for

economic empowerment, youth inclusion, security and stability as well as transparent and accountable governance.

“Our plan is clear, structured, and people-driven. First, we are focused on building a strong grassroots-based party structure across all 23 Local Government Areas, wards, and polling units in Rivers State.

“We are not just building a party for elections, we are building a movement that reflects the true aspirations of our people.

“Secondly, we are driving mass membership mobilization, and I am glad to say that Rivers people are already responding positively. Registration is ongoing, and we are leveraging both physical engagement and digital platforms to bring in youths, women, professionals, and grassroots leaders.

“Thirdly, we are committed to issue-based politics. The ADC in Rivers State will stand for economic empowerment, youth inclusion,

security and stability, transparent and accountable governance. We will present a clear alternative, one that prioritizes the welfare of the people over political interests.

“Finally, we are working on strategic alliances and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that we bring together credible leaders, technocrats, and community influencers who are genuinely committed to a new Rivers State.

“In simple terms, our goal is to reposition ADC as the credible force that can win and govern effectively in 2027.”
