The Sokoto State Government has issued a fresh directive to all successful applicants who have completed their documentation exercise, outlining the next steps required for their engagement into the state civil service.
In an official announcement dated 24th April, 2026, from the Office of the Head of Service, applicants are required to take immediate action to avoid delays in their recruitment process.
According to the notice, affected candidates are to complete the following steps:
- Visit the official portal: https://employment.sokotostate.gov.ng to submit their bank account details
- Print their Employee Data Slip in colour
- Submit the printed slip alongside photocopies of their credentials
The submission points vary depending on the applicant’s assigned institution:
- Civil Service Commission
- Teachers Service Board
- Arabic and Islamic Education Board
- Sultan Maccido Institute for Qur’anic and General Studies
Applicants are expected to follow the instructions indicated on their individual slips to determine their designated submission location.
The government has set Tuesday, 27th April, 2026 as the deadline for compliance.
Authorities warned that failure to adhere strictly to these instructions may affect the final processing of candidates’ employment.
