Eid Mubarak: CAN Felicitates with Muslims In Katsina

The Christian Association of Nigeria, Katsina State Chapter, heartily rejoices with the Muslim community in the State and across the nation on the celebration of Eid Mubarak.

The Chairman, Very Rev. Fr. Richard Shuaibu Liti and the Secretary, Assoc. Prof. Musa Daniel Danladi, in a statement made available to newsmen in Katsina on Wednesday, described the Eid season as a reminder of sacrifice, faith, and the call to live in peace with one another.

“On behalf of the Christian faithful in Katsina State, we extend our warmest congratulations to our Muslim brothers and sisters. May the spirit of Eid inspire greater love, tolerance, and unity among us,” the statement said.

CAN Katsina noted that at a time when the state and nation face security and economic challenges, interfaith harmony remains the strongest foundation for lasting peace and development. The Association urged all citizens to reject division and work together for the common good of Katsina State.

“We stand committed to promoting dialogue, mutual respect, and collaboration between Christians and Muslims. Our shared future depends on how well we live as one people under God,” the statement added.

CAN Katsina State prays for God’s blessings upon all Muslims celebrating, and for continued peace, security, and progress in Katsina State and Nigeria.
