Senator Lalong Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir, Thanks Constituents for Support

Senator Simon Bako Lalong has extended Eid-el-Kabir greetings to Muslims in Plateau State and across Nigeria, urging them to uphold the values of peace, sacrifice, unity, and compassion.
In a statement, the former Plateau State governor described the festival as a period of reflection, obedience to God, and love for one another, noting that the virtues demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim remain important for national unity and peaceful coexistence. Lalong also appreciated the people of Plateau South Senatorial District and Plateau State for their continued support, prayers, and goodwill.
He assured constituents of his commitment to effective representation and the delivery of projects and programmes aimed at improving livelihoods across the district.The senator called on residents to continue working together for peace and development, stressing that sustainable progress can only thrive in an atmosphere of harmony and mutual understanding.
Lalong further thanked members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress for their support during the recent party primaries in which he emerged as the party’s candidate for Plateau South Senatorial District. He expressed optimism that the party would achieve greater success in future elections through unity and cooperation.
