The Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), Dr. Umar Tanko Yakasai, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and candidates who emerged from the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries ahead of future elections.In a statement, Yakasai said the APC primaries reflected growing participation by party members in the democratic process.
He noted that the conduct of the primaries demonstrated internal party engagement in the selection of candidates for various elective positions. According to him, the process shows progress in Nigeria’s democratic system and could strengthen political participation and governance.
Yakasai also expressed support for the administration of President Tinubu, stating that the government is working toward national development and economic progress. He called on Nigerians to continue supporting democratic institutions and peaceful political participation across the country.
The TSG director-general further congratulated APC candidates who emerged in the primaries for governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives, and state assembly positions.
