Former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has met with the party’s candidates from Benue State ahead of forthcoming elections.
The development was disclosed in a post shared on the official page of Kwankwaso’s media aide, Hon. Saifullahi Hassan.
According to the post, the delegation comprised the NDC governorship candidate, senatorial candidates, House of Representatives candidates and State House of Assembly candidates from Benue State.
The candidates paid a visit to Kwankwaso at his residence in Maitama, Abuja, where discussions centred on party unity, grassroots mobilisation and preparations for the elections.
“The visit provided an opportunity for fruitful discussions on party unity, grassroots mobilization, and strategies towards achieving success in the forthcoming elections,” the post stated.
