Taylor Swift Breaks Streaming Records With Toy Story 5 Soundtrack Single

Taylor Swift has shattered multiple streaming records with her new song ‘I Knew It, I Knew You,’ released Friday, June 5, as part of the Toy Story 5 soundtrack.

Within hours of its release, the 36-year-old artist’s harmonica-and-banjo-driven country track prompted major platforms to announce record-breaking first-day numbers.

Apple Music declared it the platform’s biggest country single of 2026 and said it set an all-time record for the biggest soundtrack single by first-day plays.

Spotify announced the track became the most-streamed country song in a single day by a female artist in the platform’s history. Amazon Music also reported that the song logged the biggest first-24-hour streaming debut globally in 2026.

The achievement reflects an outpouring of enthusiasm from both Swift’s fanbase and Toy Story fans, who have been streaming the song in large numbers since its release.
