ECOWAS  Field Awareness Campaign Launched In Gambia To Promote Youth Engagement, Regional Intergration 

More than 250 students at Gambia Senior Secondary School took part in the launch of the ECOWAS Field Awareness Campaign on June 15th 2026, an initiative designed to deepen young people’s understanding of regional integration, free movement, peace, security, and the opportunities available to them as citizens of the ECOWAS region.

Through engaging presentations and interactive discussions, students explored how they can contribute to building a more united and prosperous West Africa.

A key milestone of the event was the introduction of the ECOWAS Club Gambia, a student-led platform that will promote civic leadership, cultural exchange, active citizenship, and peaceful dialogue within schools.
