Nigerian actor Emeka Ike has moved many with a touching birthday message dedicated to his first daughter, Ada, as she marked her birthday on Monday, June 15, 2026.
Sharing the message on his official Instagram page, the Nollywood star expressed deep affection for his daughter while also revealing his frustration over being unable to see her.
“I LOVE YOU ADA HAPPY BIRTHDAY my Princess. Though they won’t let me see you, yet I know weeping endureth only but for a night, but joy comes in the morning… I LOVE YOUUUUU Andy,” he wrote.
The actor, who recently participated in a protest in Abuja, also shared a video montage featuring old photos of himself and his daughter.
Emeka Ike’s first marriage to Suzanne Emma, which lasted about 17 years, ended in 2017. The union produced two children Ada and a son, Michael.
The actor has since remarried and started a new family with his second wife, Yolanda, with whom he has welcomed a baby girl.
