Family Unveils Burial Plan For Ex NOA Boss-Obalodo of Oye- Kingdom

The family of the late High Chief Bamitale Oguntoyinbo has announced the burial arrangements for the revered traditional chief, who until death was the Obalodo of Oye-Kingdom.
A statement by the family of the deceased community leader in Oye-Ekiti said the activities she’ll commence with the lying-in-state ceremony. This will be at the popular Obalodo Palace, Ilodo Quarters, Oye-Ekiti, on Tuesday, 23 June 2026, at 3p.m
It started that “On Wednesday, the body will depart the palace at 9 a.m. for his permanent residence, where the burial ceremony will take place at 12 p.m
The burial venue is located at Kilometre 1, Omoteye Lodge, Obalodo Estate, Oye-Ekiti.
Following the interment, guests, friends, associates and well-wishers will be entertained at the same venue.
Until his passing, High Chief Bamitale Oguntoyinbo served as the Chairman of the Ekiti State Environmental Protection Agency (EKSEPA).
He is survived by his wives, children, grandchildren, and numerous loved ones.
The family further stated that details of the final burial rites will be announced at a later date.
