How Genz’s Now Satisfy Their Sexual Urge

Gone are the days when young Nigerians only stuck with the conventional way of satisfying sexual urges. Nowadays, there are several ways they are  approaching it. People satisfy their sexual urges in a variety of ways depending on personal preferences, relationship status, and comfort levels. Common methods include solo exploration, intimate activities with a partner, and emotional or creative outlets.

These days, to consistently satisfy yourself through traditional means may require a lot of money for young people who are still single because it involves significant investment. However, some young girls and boys have created alternatives and bypass the conventional method.

The most common and accessible method involves self-stimulation of the genitals to achieve arousal and pleasure, usually culminating in an orgasm. This method is called masturbation. Many people incorporate sex toys, like vibrators or strokers, and erotic media, such as books or videos, to enhance sensory stimulation and fulfill specific fantasies.

Presently, many people have been embracing sex dolls, which are anthropomorphic sexual devices designed to mimic the size and shape of a human partner. Ranging from basic inflatable models to highly realistic, expensive silicone or TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) figures, they are primarily used for masturbation, physical pleasure, and companionship.

Inflatable: These are affordable, lightweight, and typically made of basic vinyl or rubber.Realistic (Solid): Ranging from \(\$100\) to thousands of dollars, these are made from medical-grade silicone or TPE. They often feature internal metal skeletal structures that allow them to be posed, realistic facial features, and modular parts like interchangeable orifices.

While traditionally viewed strictly as masturbation aids, for many, they have evolved into partner replacements or companions.

Users report high levels of physical satisfaction. Some find that dolls offer companionship and a safe space to explore their sexuality, while others report genuine emotional bonds with their synthetic partners.

The use of sex dolls is now getting rampant now in Nigeria,  as more and more are going for it.

Other ways young people now sexually enjoy themselves are finger vibrators. Usually rubbery or ridged pads, these are placed over your fingertips, turning your hands into vibrators, with each finger acting as a dildo. Typically, they consist of an adjustable ring with a pad that provides pleasure. The bigger the bullet, the more intense the sensations they will bring.

How to Use Them

Strap these trembling toys onto your fingers. They will likely need lubricant, as many finger vibrators are textured and can feel harsh when used directly against a clitoris or other sensitive areas. Trace the vibrators over nipples, hips, inner thighs, and backside to tease your partner before applying them to more delicate areas. Feel free to adjust their position on your finger; the further down they rest, the more control you will have.

Rabbit Vibrators

What is rabbit-style you ask? Best known for being featured on Sex and the City, the rabbit penetrates the vagina while fluttering on one’s clitoris. This allows both areas to be aroused at once. Usually, they include a variety of speeds and settings or can thrust.

Double Ended Dildos; These double ended dildos enter two partners at once. Often these toys vibrate, adding extra indulgence.

How to Use Them:

These can be used between two people, where one inserts the small sculpted end inside them and penetrates their partner with the base. Normal sex positions and moves should work fine, but you may need more lube! For solo play, bend the ends so it penetrates you in two places at once.

Hands-Free Vibrators: These mechanical playthings help you rub out one out without a lot of work. A hands-free vibrator sits on top of a clitoris, or another tender area, usually with appendages that keep it secure. Some also have penetrative arms. You can control the oscillations through a remote or even an app on your phone (don’t let your mother use it to make a quick call.)

How to Use Them:

Lay face up as you insert the toy. Avoid clenching your legs, it will cause the vibrator to fall out. Establish the precise settings you crave, or let your partner (especially if they are out of town) control the cadence for you. Lay back, and let it do the work!

Penis Rings  rings make a partner with a member last longer through intercourse by cutting off circulation. By preventing blood from flowing back into the penis, this amplifies and prolongs erections.

How to Use Them:

Some cock rings rest on shafts, but others can clamp down on the penis and testicles. For a normal penis ring, apply lubricant inside the toy so it slides on easily then put on while the penis is not erect. The ring will become tighter as you become more erect. If it is meant to go over one’s testicles and penis, set the ring around the testicles, one at a time. Leave it around the scrotum then squeeze the penis, head first, inside.

While Vibrators (aka vibes, personal massagers) — Objects that vibrate (move continuously/buzz) are to stimulate your genitals. It’s very common for people to use vibrators to stimulate their clitoris and other parts of their vulva and vagina. But vibrators can also stimulate the penis, scrotum and testicles, nipples, and anus. Vibrators come in all shapes and sizes. Some can go inside a vagina or anus, and others are meant to be used outside the body.

Dildos — Objects that go inside a vagina, anus, or mouth. Dildos come in many shapes and sizes, but they’re often shaped like a penis. Some look like realistic penises, and others are more abstract. They can also be slightly curved, to help stimulate your g-spot or prostate. Dildos can be made out of lots of different materials, like silicone, rubber, plastic, metal, or, break-resistant glass.

Anal toys Sex toys made specifically to stimulate and/or go inside your anus. Anal toys include plugs (usually called butt plugs), anal beads, prostate massagers, and dildos with a wide base. You need to use lube to use anal toys safely. And it’s very important that any toy you put in your butt has a flared base (meaning it’s wider at the bottom) or some other way to pull the toy out, so it can’t accidentally slip all the way in. If a sex toy goes all the way inside your butt, it could get stuck and you may have to go to the doctor to get it out.

Sleeves (aka masturbation sleeves, penis sleeves, or strokers) — Soft tubes that you put your penis into. Sleeves come in all shapes and sizes, and often have different textures on the inside for more sensation. Some even have vibration or suction. There are also strokers that are specially designed for a larger clitoris or smaller penis, particularly for intersex people or trans men on hormone therapy.

Penis rings (aka cock rings, erectile dysfunction rings, or constriction rings) —  rings that go around your scrotum and/or penis. Penis rings slow blood flow out of the penis when it’s erect (hard), which can increase sensation, or make your erection harder and longer-lasting. The safest penis rings are made from soft, flexible materials that you can easily remove, like silicone, rubber, or leather with snaps. Some penis rings have little vibrators on them, to stimulate you and/or your partner. Because penis rings restrict your blood flow, don’t wear one for longer than 10-30 minutes, and take it off right away if you feel any pain or discomfort. And talk to your nurse or doctor before using penis rings if you have a bleeding disorder or are on blood-thinning medicine.

Pumps (aka penis pumps, vacuum pumps, or vacuum erection pumps) — Vacuum-like devices that use a hand or battery-powered pump to create suction around your penis, clitoris, vulva, or nipples. Pumps drive blood flow to the area, which helps increase sensitivity and sensation. Some people also like the feeling of the suction. Penis pumps can help you get an erection, but they won’t make your penis permanently bigger. Some pumps are designed to help treat erectile dysfunction, genital arousal disorder, and orgasm disorder — you can get more information about these pumps from a nurse or doctor, like the ones at your local Planned Parenthood health center. But most of the pumps you buy in sex stores or adult shops are not medical devices, they’re just meant to enhance pleasure during sex and masturbation. Make sure to follow the instructions on the packaging, and don’t pump for longer than the instructions say. And talk to your doctor before using a pump if you have a blood disorder, or are on blood-thinning medication.
