LAGOS – The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, Yemi Oyeniyi, has delivered a lecture titled “Security: A Collective Responsibility – The Roles of Government, Communities and Civil Society Organisations in Security Management” at the high-level Delta State Government Security Summit convened by the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, in Asaba.
Bright Edafe, Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Police Command has said in a statement.
Edafe, a Superintendent of Police (SP), said the the lecture held at unity hall Government house Asaba on June 17, 2026, underscored the need for stronger collaboration among government, security agencies, communities and civil society organisations in addressing security challenges and sustaining peace, safety and development across Delta State.
