Patience Ozokwor: My Villain Roles Were Meant To Teach, Not Glorify Evil

Veteran actress Patience Ozokwor, popularly known as ‘Mama G’, G for General, has explained why she often plays villainous roles in films.
She said her characters are meant to draw attention to issues many people prefer to ignore. According to her, films can help expose wrongdoing and spark important conversations.
Ozokwor noted that many of the problems shown on screen happen in everyday life but are rarely discussed openly. She said she is not afraid to bring such realities to the public.
The actress also expressed pride in her career and thanked fans for their continued support over the years.
She said:
“I felt bold to expose the ills of society. These things happen, and nobody wants to expose them, so I’m exposing them. So I’m extremely proud of myself and mama G lovers”.
