Colombian singer Shakira has shared her excitement about working with Burna Boy on “Dia Dia”, the official theme song for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking in a recent interview, Shakira described the collaboration as a special moment in her career. She praised Burna Boy and spoke warmly about working with him on the project.
The singer said the Nigerian star was always part of her vision for the song. She added that she was delighted to turn finally turn the idea into reality.
She said:
“When I had Burna Boy record it, that was the cherry on top. I always wanted to do something with Burna and I think his voice just takes it to another level.”
