TCN Participates In Four-Day Parliamentary/Stakeholders’ Engagement On Power Sector Reforms

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) participated in a four-day Parliamentary and Stakeholders’ Roundtable and Public Engagement on Power Sector Reforms and Expenditure.

The programme organised by the House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee on the Probe of Power Sector Reforms and Expenditure (2007-2024), held from June 7 to 10, 2026.

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of TCN, Engr Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz, was represented at the event by the General Manager, Transmission Services, Engr. Sharifai Ali. The engagement was held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos, and brought together key stakeholders in the Nigerian power sector.

The forum provided a platform for the House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee to examine the implementation of power sector reforms and expenditures between 2007 and 2024.

Deliberations also focused on identifying challenges within the sector and exploring practical measures to improve electricity supply and overall power sector performance in Nigeria.
