Activ8 Hub Trains Over 3,000 Young People, Sustains Positive Impact On Technovation Ecosystem

ONITSHA – A leading technovation centre in Anambra State, tActiv8 Hub has trained no fewer than 3,000 young people in digital and entrepreneurial skill sets, as part of its efforts in strengthening its resounding position in digital ecosystem.
Also, Activ8 Hub is building a thriving community of over 5,000 innovators, founders, creators, and technology enthusiasts.
Through its flagship No- Code School, strategic partnerships, and the introduction of GoDigital, the organisation is creating pathways that connect digital skills with employment and entrepreneurship across the state.
Since its inception, the Awka-based hub has graduated learners across five cohorts of its No-Code School, equipping participants with practical skills in digital marketing, AI productivity, no-code web development,
UI/UX design, creative design, video editing, virtual assistance, and social media management. The programme now runs both physically and online, extending access to quality digital education beyond Anambra.
In addition, Activ8 Hub has continued to strengthen the local innovation ecosystem through initiatives such as the Anambra Creators Meetup and collaborations with the Anambra State ICT Agency, Lifting Lives and Communities Initiative (LIFT), Both Of Us (EU-funded), The Pivot Nigeria, Anambra Techies, the Anambra Startup Community, and other ecosystem partners. Recent programmes include AI training for journalists and the International Day of Girls in ICT celebration, which introduced girls from schools across Awka and neighbouring communities to careers in technology.
Speaking on the organisation‘s vision, mission and growth so far, the Founder and CEO, Chukwuma Mezie-Okoye said the initiative reflects Activ8 Hub’s broader vision of ensuring that talent development translates into sustainable economic opportunities.
Mezie-Okoye said Anambra has the potential to become a destination where young people can build meaningful careers without leaving the state.
