A dramatic incident was captured on camera after a woman reportedly jumped from a moving Uber vehicle during a dispute over a fare of R$10, about KSh 230.
According to reports, the passenger insisted the trip had already been paid for through the Uber app. However, the driver claimed the payment had failed because of a system error.
The driver reportedly decided to head to a nearby police station to resolve the disagreement.
While the vehicle was still moving, the woman allegedly opened the rear door and jumped onto the road.
The driver later filed a police report over the incident.
The circumstances surrounding the payment dispute have not been officially confirmed. Authorities are expected to investigate the matter further.
