Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has alleged that he was defrauded in a property transaction after paying $4 million for a house in Lagos.
The singer made the claim during an emotional Instagram Live session, where he said he recently discovered that the person who sold him the property was not the rightful owner.
Bella Shmurda said the development had left him distressed and that he was concerned about recovering the money he invested in the property.
According to the singer, he has instructed his lawyer to investigate the transaction and pursue appropriate legal steps.
“Nigeria, I need your help. I’m not doing okay right now. I spent $4 million of my own hard-earned money, only to find out I bought stolen property. I worked for years for this. I can’t lose $4 million like that,” he said.
As of the time of this report, the allegations have not been independently verified, and no official statement has been issued by law enforcement authorities or any party connected to the transaction.
