Dr. Sonia, Engr. Abe Begin Marital Journey Amid Calls for Love, Patience

Family members, friends, colleagues, business associates and well-wishers gathered at Crest Hall, Mile Six, Jalingo, on Saturday to witness the solemnisation of the Holy Matrimony between Dr. Sonia and Engr. Abe in a ceremony marked by prayers, goodwill messages and celebration.

The event, which attracted prominent personalities from the public and private sectors, highlighted marriage as a lifelong covenant founded on love, commitment, faith and mutual respect.

Chairman of the occasion, Mr. Paul FWA, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Surefire Oil and Gas, described the groom as a close friend, trusted business partner and humble gentleman whose integrity, diligence and devotion have earned him admiration.

Congratulating the couple, he urged them to make God the cornerstone of their home, stressing that patience, understanding, forgiveness and open communication are essential ingredients for a successful marriage.

He also cautioned against third-party interference in marital affairs, advising the newlyweds to resolve disagreements through dialogue, mutual respect and sincere understanding.

Delivering his remarks as Father of the Day, Alhaji Isiyaku Abdullahi, former Executive Vice President (Downstream) of NNPC Limited and Galadiman Eggon of Nasarawa State, encouraged the couple to remain steadfast in love, support each other’s aspirations and build a family founded on discipline, moral values and the fear of God.

He prayed for God’s continuous guidance, wisdom, good health, fruitfulness, prosperity and lasting peace in their marriage, while wishing all invited guests a safe journey to their respective destinations.
