The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced that its 2026 recruitment exercise will begin on Friday, July 3.
Naijaonpoint reports that the agency is inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for different job openings across its officer, marshal inspectorate, and road marshal assistant levels.
The recruitment notice was issued in a statement dated June 24 and signed by the Deputy Corps Marshal in charge of Administration and Human Resources, Pauline Olaye, on behalf of the Corps Marshal.
The FRSC made it clear that the entire application process will be done online and will run for four weeks through its official recruitment portal.
The corps stated that applicants are not required to pay any fee, as the process is completely free.
Interested persons are expected to submit their applications through the official website at https://recruitment.frsc.gov.ng.
Those who make the shortlist will be required to present printed copies of their application forms during screening.
The recruitment covers three main categories. For the officer cadre, vacancies are open for roles such as Superintendent Route Commanders, Route Commanders, Deputy Route Commanders, and Assistant Route Commanders.
Applicants in this category include graduates in fields like medicine, pharmacy, nursing, law, engineering, and other degree or HND holders.
Age limits for most roles fall between 18 and 35 years.
For the marshal inspectorate level, the FRSC is accepting applications from candidates with qualifications such as NCE, ND, OND, as well as registered nurses, midwives, and community health workers.
Applicants in this group are expected to fall within the age range of 18 to 30 years.
The road marshal assistant category is open to candidates with at least three credits in SSCE, including English Language and Mathematics.
It also includes artisans and professionals such as mechanics, electricians, computer operators, plumbers, tailors, drivers, and motorcycle riders.
Drivers applying for specialised roles must hold valid driving licences, while articulated and tow-truck drivers are expected to be within the age bracket of 26 to 40 years.
Federal Road Safety Corps also stated that all applicants must be Nigerian by birth, medically fit, computer literate, and of good behaviour.
Applicants are expected to be single, provide valid contact details, and meet the required height standards for male and female candidates.
The agency added that all certificates must be properly declared during application, as undeclared qualifications may affect future career progression.
It also warned that applicants must not have criminal records, should not be in financial debt, and must avoid body tattoos.
Pregnant women were advised not to apply for the exercise.
