Harvests From Yahaya Bello Scholarships: Oluwabukolami Adeyemi Emerges Best Graduating Student Of Law (First Class) From UK University

Oluwabukolami Adeyemi, a beneficiary of the Yahaya Bello Scholarship outreaches as the then governor of Kogi State, has merged the best graduating student with First Class in Law from Newcastle University, the United Kingdom.

Oluwabukolami in 2023 after her sterling performance in the Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge AS examinations among over 100 participants across over 100 countries of the world gained recognitions and commendation via her excellent academic performance.

               The commendations came from prominent Nigerians including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi and a host of other personalities across the country and beyond.

Oluwabukolami who hails from Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State, was received by the then governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello at the Government House in August, 2023.

Rewarding her academic excellence, Yahaya Bello offered a comprehensive scholarship to Oluwabukolami which covered all expenses namely school fees, accommodation and up keeps throughout her studies in the United Kingdom.

Justifying the kind gesture of former Governor Bello, Oluwabukolami graduated with First-class in law degree from the United Kingdom university.

Yahaya Bello who was elated by Oluwabukolami’s academic exploits, has offered another scholarship to the academic Amazon for her Masters degree in the United Kingdom.

In her emotional video of appreciation, Oluwabukolami thanked Yahaya Bello whom she described as “God-sent to humanity”.

Olumide Adeyemi, the father of Oluwabukolami, also expressed profound appreciation to the Yahaya Bello, who did not allow the star of his daughter to dim.

Adeyemí confessed that it would have been difficult for him to guarantee the actualisation of his daughter’s dreams of foreign education despite her academic ingenuity.

Engr. Adeyemi also acknowledged that Yahaya Bello’s kind gensture had been extended to many others before and even after his daughter, Oluwabukolami, and prayed Almighty God to continue to grant the former governor his heart desires, long life in good health.

Oluwabukolami received the Cambridge award after earning the highest scores in the 2022 Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge AS Level Examinations among students from 146 countries of the world.
