Kaduna State Government has issued a stern warning to individuals involved in vandalising and destroying public property across the state.
The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr Sule Shuaibu, gave the warning during an inspection tour of the bridge connecting Rabah Road in Kaduna North Local Government Area to Rigasa in Igabi Local Government Area to assess the extent of the damage caused by vandals.
Dr Sule reiterated that the administration of Governor Uba Sani will not tolerate any act of vandalism or destruction of government property. He stressed that all necessary measures are being taken to identify and prosecute those responsible for the damage.
He called on residents to remain vigilant and report anyone found vandalising or destroying public infrastructure, noting that protecting government property is a collective responsibility and essential for the development of the state.
