Kogi Political Forum Commends Tinubu Over Appointment  Of Abuh Mohammed As NPC DG

 

 

A political group, the Kogi State Political Elite Forum, has commended President Bola Tinubu over the appointment of Dr. Abuh Mohammed as Director-General of the National Population Commission (NPC).

 

The group also acknowledged the appointments of Prof. Ronke Bello as a member of the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju into the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission, and Engr. Abdullahi Ibrahim Oguche as Director (Technical Services) at the Rural Electrification Agency (REA).

 

In a statement signed by its coordinator, Mr. Ojonuba Jacob, the forum said the appointments reflected the inclusion of qualified individuals from Kogi State in key federal positions.

 

The forum described Dr. Mohammed as an experienced professional and expressed confidence in his ability to lead the National Population Commission.

 

It said his experience in population management and data administration would be an asset to the commission as it carries out its statutory responsibilities.

 

The group congratulated the new appointees and wished them success in their respective assignments.
