Ncdmb, Grufix Global Services Limited Conclude Technical Capacity Building Trainingg For 50 Niger Delta Ypuths In Badagry, Lagos State

Lagos State – The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board – NCDMB, in partnership with GRUFIX GLOBAL SERVICES LIMITED, has successfully completed a 5-day Technical Capacity Building Initiative for 50 Niger Delta youths in Badagry, Lagos State.

The programme, held from July 20 to July 24, 2026, is part of NCDMB’s ongoing commitment to human capacity development and the empowerment of host communities in line with the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act, 2010.

The intensive training was designed to equip young people from Niger Delta communities with practical, industry-relevant technical skills to improve their employability and participation in the oil and gas, construction, and maritime sectors.

Participants underwent hands-on training, classroom sessions, and safety briefings facilitated by certified instructors from GRUFIX GLOBAL SERVICES LIMITED. The curriculum emphasized competence, safety compliance, and best industry practices.

GRUFIX GLOBAL SERVICES LIMITED commended the participants for their dedication and urged them to apply the knowledge gained to secure jobs and create value within their communities.

The beneficiaries expressed appreciation to NCDMB and GRUFIX GLOBAL SERVICES LIMITED, describing the initiative as timely and impactful. Many noted that the training has opened new pathways for self-employment and engagement with contractors in Lagos and across the Niger Delta.

With this completion, NCDMB has further expanded the pool of skilled young Nigerians ready for deployment in technical roles, reinforcing its mandate to build local capacity and promote sustainable development.
