The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Abdulrahman Mohammed Takushara, on Sunday in Abuja announced the successful upload of the party’s Presidential Candidate, Vice Presidential Candidate, and National Assembly candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal.
Describing the development as another significant milestone in the party’s preparations for the 2027 General Elections in a statement, Takushara said the successful submission underscores the PDP’s commitment to fully participating in the electoral process and delivering on its promises to members and supporters.
According to him, the achievement reflects the party’s determination to remain focused, organised, and prepared as it intensifies efforts ahead of the general elections.
He also disclosed that the party is awaiting the completion of the upload of its Governorship and State Houses of Assembly candidates, expressing confidence that the process will be concluded successfully.
On behalf of the National Working Committee (NWC), the PDP National Chairman congratulated party members across Nigeria and in the diaspora for the progress made so far, urging them to remain united and committed to the party’s vision.
Takushara reaffirmed the PDP’s resolve to build a stronger and more united party capable of offering effective leadership and a better future for Nigerians.
