2027 Poll: Campaign On Issues, Anyanwu Tells PDP Candidates

National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Anyanwu has charged all House of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senatorial candidates of the party to run issues-based campaign ahead of the 2027 election.

He advised them to remain focused on the pursuit of their campaign projects, adding that PDP as at present remains the only party that is united, peaceful and coordinated to win elections.

Anyanwu said PDP candidates were carefully elected by their people to represent them in various positions, and warned those  fanning the ember of discord to desist from doing so.

He urged PDP members and candidates to abide by the rule of law and avoid anything capable of dragging the party’s image to public disrepute.

He assured them that PDP is well position to win the 2027 polls, maintaining that the party would outsmart their rivals to emerge victorious in the 2027 election.

While congratulating PDP candidates in advance, Anyanwu therefore appealed to them not to join issues with candidates of other political parties, admonishing them to instead anchor their campaign policies on issue based rather than hitting up the polity.
