Thief Breaks Into Container Shop But Becomes Too Frightened To Exit After Being Caught

A suspected thief who allegedly broke into a container shop has been left in an embarrassing predicament after becoming too frightened to come out following his discovery, with footage of him stuck halfway through a hole in the container wall going viral on social media.

The footage shows the young man with his head and arm poking through a tear in the corrugated metal side of the container, looking directly at the camera in what appears to be a state of nervous resignation, apparently unable to bring himself to fully emerge and face those who had discovered him.

The location of the incident and the identity of the young man have not been publicly confirmed. It is unclear what items, if any, were stolen before the suspect was discovered, or whether the matter was subsequently reported to the Ghana Police Service.

The incident has drawn widespread amusement online, with many social media users noting the irony of a thief who successfully broke into a shop but found the exit considerably more difficult to navigate once caught.
