Transfer: Two reasons Salah’s move to Besiktas collapsed revealed

The reasons former Liverpool winger, Mohamed Salah’s transfer move to Besiktas collapsed have been revealed.
Salah, who left Liverpool after the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, has been heavily linked with a move to Besiktas this summer transfer window.
However, Besiktas’ ambitious attempt to land the Egyptian international as a free agent hit a significant roadblock this week.
According to Polymarket Sports, Salah’s move to Besiktas collapsed following disagreements over the share of revenue from shirt sales and his agent’s commission.
The Turkish giants will now have to explore high-profile alternatives before the summer transfer window closes.
Salah, who led his country to reach the Round of 16 stage at the 2026 World Cup as they were eliminated from the tournament by Argentina, will now look for a new club.
