The Lagos State Baales Forum has declared its total support for the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, affirming that he possesses the vision and capacity to build upon the monumental achievements of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and previous administrations in the state.
Dr. Seyi Bamigbade, Convener of the Lagos State Baales Forum, stated this during the Ikeja Division Post-PVC Evaluation exercise held at the Ikeja Local Government Secretariat.
While addressing the traditional rulers and community leaders, Dauda Akeem, Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, who represented both the Dr. Hamzat, and James Abiodun Faleke, emphasised the critical role of local governance.
He announced that all Lagos State local government chairmen are fully prepared to collaborate closely with the traditional institutions to secure millions of grassroots votes for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in ensuring victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Dr. Hamzat in the forthcoming elections.
The Oba of Igando, Lasisi Gbadebo Gbadamosi, In his remarks, commended the Lagos State Baales Forum its their unwavering dedication, tireless efforts, and strategic mobilization of residents across the state to guarantee a resounding victory for the ruling APC.
Expressing gratitude to the monarchs in attendance, Chairman of the Baales Forum and Oba-Elect of Ijeododo Kingdom, High Chief Abu Jelili Ododo, reassured the leadership of the party’s readiness for total grassroots mobilization.
The monarch promised to ensure a massive turnout of voters on the election day, assuming of his community’s commitment to the continuity of progress in Lagos State and Nigeria.
