Two unidentified men have been subjected to public humiliation after they were allegedly caught stealing coconuts.

In a video circulating online, the two men were seen being confronted by some residents who questioned them over why they chose to steal instead of working hard to earn a living.

The men reportedly struggled to provide a convincing explanation, which appeared to anger their apprehenders.

They were then asked to hold the coconuts they allegedly stole, sing, and dance in front of the crowd.

With fear visible on their faces, the two men complied with the instructions.

One of them appeared to put in extra effort while dancing after noticing that his colleague, who was not participating actively, was reportedly threatened with a cane.
